NCV launched its relief work, based on humanitarian, sympathetic consideration for the vic-tims who are in complete trouble caused by Cyclone Nargis. “In an emergency period, the prompt, precise and proper response is the key to any situation.”

Why we do Food Aid
NCV executed its Food Aid program for the distribution of food, the basic, essential need for humans with a view to helping solve the food needs of the cyclone victims and contributing to their rehabilitation.

Why we do WASH
NCV did Water, Sanitation and Health (WASH) activities for the supply of water, an essential item for human survival, with the aims of providing sufficient, clean drinking water and pre-venting against water-borne diseases.

Why we do Education
Adhering to the motto “Our future is in the hands of the children”, NCV aims to upgrade the skills and quality of the children who will be assuming the leading role in future.

Why we do Shelter
NCV is engaged in the construction of houses to bring shelter immediately to the cyclone victims who have lost their dwellings in the disaster and to effect transition to rehabilitation as soon as possible.
