History of NCV

In May 2nd 2008, we met Nargis cyclone that had never been happened in our country history before. The wind struck by 190 km per hour and the big waves like Tsunami carried away human beings , households, trees, animals and so many other things.

In this storm, hundred thousands of people died and over 2 million people lost their homes and met so many problems. So we felt very sorry and we could not resist that situation.

In our primary assessment, we saw died bodies and collapsed buildings in Bogalay, Pyapon, Mawkyun and Laputta townships. In the disaster, we realized the nature of the world ( Dhmma). We Felt very sad upon the worst situation, so we thought for their lives “How will they be able to survive? “how can we help them?” We sympathized their difficulties and their situation. We all are on the same boat, so we decided to help those people with brotherhood and sisterhood spirit.

If we cannot help those people who were affected by the big disaster in our sight, we will never forgive ourselves for the rest of our life. That is why we decided to help them for social works as much as we can. So we formed the Noble Compassionate Volunteer Group with people of Different races, religions and ages from throughout the country. But we have the same spirit of wishing to help others who need help.
